ACCOMPLISHMENTS:<br />
1 st Quarter Report: Implementation <strong>of</strong> a statewide foster parent support poster campaign. Basic guidelines developed addressing<br />
foster parent retention/support workshops provided at the annual Resource Development and Placement Conference. Method <strong>for</strong><br />
measuring achievement: Posters are completed and produced. Actions to be taken next quarter: Letter completed and endorsed by<br />
State Directors, Commissioner, Governor in support <strong>of</strong> campaign, mailed to all County and Field Directors <strong>for</strong> implementation.<br />
Posters disseminated to counties and displayed in areas <strong>of</strong> high visibility throughout the agency and community. Update and expand<br />
upon retention guidelines and submit to counties <strong>for</strong> implementation. Develop more specific guidelines <strong>for</strong> implementing foster parent<br />
exit interviews. Make recommendations <strong>for</strong> inclusion <strong>of</strong> issue in annual staff/administrative training workshops, etc.<br />
