ACCOMPLISHMENTS:<br />

1 st and 2nd Quarter Reports: Achieved. To increase staff knowledge <strong>of</strong> and access to existing service resources, the following<br />

resources are now available on the internet:<br />

GAHSC's Referral Central.net currently posts an on-line resource directory <strong>of</strong> statewide providers <strong>of</strong> children's services, which<br />

includes, FP/BP Assessment Providers, Emergency Shelters, Family Preservation and Counseling Services, Psychiatric Hospitals,<br />

Therapeutic Treatment Facilities, Private Foster Care Agencies, Therapeutic Group Homes and Transitional Youth Services.<br />

PSSF 2003 Service Provider Resource Guide a Comprehensive Regional Directory <strong>of</strong> community-based child and family service<br />

agencies funded under DHR-DFCS Promoting <strong>Safe</strong> and Stable Families <strong>Program</strong> (PSSF). Services include child abuse prevention,<br />

early intervention, family preservation, reunification services and adoption promotion and support services. The resource guide is<br />

accessible on line at www.gahsc.org and www.caresolutions.com<br />

The DHR Division <strong>of</strong> Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases has produced a comprehensive listing <strong>of</strong><br />

regional mental health resources delivered through eight state hospitals, 26 community service boards, boards <strong>of</strong> health and private<br />

providers. The Georgia Mental Health Online Sourcebook and the Substance Abuse Internet Referral Service are available on<br />

the web.<br />

Links to the current DHR Web Site, GAHSC Referral Central and IDS On-Line are under development.<br />
