ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Funding and resource allocation plan to address identified
gaps in service array and geographic accessibility.
1 st Quarter Report: The Division hosted the FFY 2003 PSSF Bidders Conference to provide information and technical assistance to
public and private non-profit entities and county departments interested in developing or enhancing community service resources for
children and families. More than 200 agency representatives in attendance were provided information on the PSSF Program and
funding process, federal and state funding objectives and desired outcomes for children and families served by the state of Georgia.
Relevant information was shared on the CFSR process, findings and recommendations for program improvement, with particular
emphasis on the current array of services and the development of supports and services in under resourced counties.
