ACCOMPLISHMENTS:<br />
1 st Quarter Report: The continued use <strong>of</strong> state level monitoring <strong>of</strong> AFCARS data elements continues through quality assurance<br />
reviews, state level data evaluation and individual county resolution. All AFCARS data has been and will continue to be evaluated <strong>for</strong><br />
problems prior to submission. With the use <strong>of</strong> social services in<strong>for</strong>mation systems web page, county <strong>of</strong>fices will be aware <strong>of</strong> data<br />
discrepancy issues every month versus waiting <strong>for</strong> the six month file to be evaluated. This assignment is still pending and cannot be<br />
measured against the established benchmark at this time.<br />
2 nd Quarter Federal Response: What can the State give us to show this has been achieved?<br />
3rd Quarter Georgia's Reply: Action strategy is not achieved.<br />
3 rd Quarter Report: Ongoing reporting and evaluation <strong>of</strong> AFCARS data is being completed and reported to the county <strong>of</strong>fices on a<br />
monthly basis. With the availability <strong>of</strong> the web, in the future, these reports will be available to the county <strong>for</strong> frequent updates and<br />
reviews.<br />
4 th Quarter Report: Beginning November 2003, all data elements and reports will be made available on DFCS CMS.NET.<br />

5 th Quarter Report: Achieved. Counties were notified in October 2003 <strong>of</strong> the deadlines <strong>for</strong> data correction in IDS Online. Very<br />
specific guidelines were provided. In addition, the monthly report <strong>of</strong> Key Per<strong>for</strong>mance Indicators has given counties clear in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
regarding data accuracy in their county.<br />
