ACCOMPLISHMENTS:<br />

1 st Quarter Report: Measurement methods in process <strong>of</strong> development: On line Supervisory Review Guide questions developed by<br />

3/03. In<strong>for</strong>mation to be compared with baseline data obtained from an online survey <strong>of</strong> 159 county <strong>of</strong>fices re: worker-parent visitation<br />

practices, including the primary visitation location. Survey to be administered statewide 1/03.<br />

2 nd Quarter Report: No report is due this quarter.<br />

Partially achieved: Policy revisions emphasizing the receipt <strong>of</strong> quarterly reports finalized and are ready <strong>for</strong> print and distribution.<br />

Online Supervisory Review Guide questions are currently being field-tested. Implementation is planned by July 2003.<br />

3 rd Quarter Report: Partially achieved: Policy revisions emphasizing the receipt and monitoring <strong>of</strong> quarterly reports have been<br />

distributed to the field. Online Supervisory Review Guide questions are currently being field-tested. Implementation is planned by<br />

September 2003.<br />

4 th Quarter Report: Partially Achieved: Revised strategy <strong>for</strong> monitoring progress to include the use <strong>of</strong> the data from Qualitative<br />

Reviews which were initiated in October 2003. The measurement collection tool will be published in a quarterly report <strong>Safe</strong> <strong>Futures</strong>:<br />

A Child Welfare Re<strong>for</strong>m <strong>Plan</strong> Monitoring Progress Matrix. This report is shared within the organization and up through the chain <strong>of</strong><br />

command to the Governor. Additionally, the social services web page has been established that will allow <strong>for</strong> the publication and the<br />

collection <strong>of</strong> data related to Supervisory Review Guides and other CSFR/PIP related goals.<br />

DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED 4 TH Quarter:<br />

See attached <strong>for</strong> Supervisory Review Guide; and Monitoring Progress Matrix.<br />

4 th Quarter Federal Response: State needs to track ICPC approved placements to assure that quarterly reports have been submitted. .<br />

Progress on this action step is contingent upon the QR.<br />

5 th Quarter Report: Per Annual Evaluation/Renegotiation, the State requested to delete this Action Step. The step is not relevant to<br />

the Item and there<strong>for</strong>e needs to be deleted. The State believes a cut and paste error occurred in the original PIP <strong>Plan</strong>. Please note that<br />

this step is a duplicate to Item 19, Action Step K6.<br />
