published and disseminated statewide.<br />

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:<br />

1 st Quarter Report: In a collaborative ef<strong>for</strong>t with the Court <strong>Improvement</strong> Project (CIP) the Division requested and received<br />

assistance from the Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic at Emory University, which allowed students to research and develop a report<br />

about visitation centers in other states. They are also creating a 'How to' manual <strong>for</strong> getting these set up in Georgia. This project has<br />

been completed and will be ready <strong>for</strong> distribution in early February.<br />

2 nd Quarter Report: Partially Achieved. In a collaborative ef<strong>for</strong>t with the Court <strong>Improvement</strong> Project (CIP) the Division requested<br />

and received assistance from the Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic at Emory University, which allowed students to research and<br />

develop a report about visitation centers in other states.<br />

2nd Quarter Federal Response: Can we get in<strong>for</strong>mation to show what has been achieved thus far? E.g. a copy <strong>of</strong> the manual.<br />

Georgia's Reply 3 rd Quarter: Please see SIBLING PLACEMENTS <strong>for</strong> literature on the Jane Addams Hull House and reports on<br />

other states' initiatives regarding sibling groups and Georgia's TIME-LIMITED REUNIFICATION SERVICES, <strong>for</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation on<br />

Family Visitation and Access Centers in the Appendix.<br />

3 RD Quarter Report: Achieved. In a collaborative ef<strong>for</strong>t with the Court <strong>Improvement</strong> Project (CIP) the Division requested and<br />

received assistance from the Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic at Emory University, which allowed students to research and develop<br />

a report about visitation centers in other states. They have also created a 'How to' manual <strong>for</strong> getting these set up in Georgia. These<br />

tasks have been completed have been <strong>for</strong>warded to the Division <strong>for</strong> final review, printing and dissemination.<br />
