ACCOMPLISHMENTS:<br />

4 th Quarter Report: E&R Unit is reviewing cases to determine if TPR is being filed timely. We will continue to work with Field<br />

Directors to include st<strong>an</strong>dards in PMF.<br />

5 th Quarter Report: Achieved. Refer to E-1. An additional perform<strong>an</strong>ce expectation has been added to the Perform<strong>an</strong>ce M<strong>an</strong>agement<br />

Pl<strong>an</strong>s (PMPs) for all DFCS County Directors to ensure the Division's compli<strong>an</strong>ce with the PIP. The following statement was added to<br />

the Goal 1 Section <strong>of</strong> the County Director's PMP effective J<strong>an</strong>uary 1, 2004: 'Ensure staff compli<strong>an</strong>ce with policies/law related to<br />

timeliness <strong>of</strong> requests for TPR petitions being filed for children in the placement system.'<br />

The E&R Trend Analysis Report for SFY 2003 indicates 71% <strong>of</strong> the cases reviewed are filed timely or documented compelling<br />

reasons why TPR was not in the child's best interest.<br />
