This benchmark was achieved. A report was made to the team for changes or additions to policy. The recommendations included:
Training of the public and private sectors would benefit through coordinated planning, implementation and cross training. Cross
training of the public and private sectors would serve as a common platform for both sectors and the children that they serve.
Certification of professional staff that includes fundamental training requirements should be incentives through favorable regulation
and reimbursements.
Completion date: May 2002 and ongoing.
Next steps will include discussion of the recommendations in conjunction with policy changes.
