<strong>an</strong>d paste error probably occurred as this action step is very similar to Item 17 Action Step I-16.<br />

additional case reviews'.<br />

4 th Quarter Federal Response: Action step <strong>an</strong>d benchmarks needs further clarification regarding progress to date.<br />

5 th Quarter Report: Since, the QCR reviews will continue as the ongoing process for evaluating <strong>an</strong>d monitoring the state's child<br />

welfare system. The effectiveness <strong>of</strong> training will be measured in the comparison <strong>of</strong> the first reports from the reviews <strong>an</strong>d the reports<br />

from the second set <strong>of</strong> reviews. The reports from the reviews will be <strong>an</strong>alyzed <strong>an</strong>d compared to determine the training needs <strong>of</strong> staff.<br />

These training needs will be recommended to the newly established Education <strong>an</strong>d Research Section to develop <strong>an</strong>d implement<br />

training for county staff.<br />
