3 rd Quarter Report: The Foster Care Unit continues to provide technical assist<strong>an</strong>ce to counties with regards to the appropriate use <strong>of</strong><br />

funds to provide identified Wrap-Around services for children, families <strong>an</strong>d foster parents. Local county <strong>of</strong>fices continue to provide<br />

monthly reports on a quarterly basis to the Foster Care Unit identifying monthly therapeutic services ordered <strong>an</strong>d paid for on behalf <strong>of</strong><br />

individual children, parents or foster parents. The Foster Care Unit continues to receive monthly Gr<strong>an</strong>t -In-Aid Budget Vs. Expense<br />

Reports which detail by county, the current service provision pattern <strong>an</strong>d totals for each Wrap-Around service provided. The<br />

Division's implementation <strong>of</strong> the Wrap-Around services component along with the First Placement/Best Placement Assessment<br />

process will continue to provide information on which we will base reporting.<br />
