Foster Care staff also provided training to DFCS staff on the Case Pl<strong>an</strong> Reporting System (CPRS) to help staff use the information<br />

collected in the comprehensive assessment to make more appropriate perm<strong>an</strong>ency decisions. Over 900 DFCS placement staff received<br />

this training.<br />

A pilot is being conducted in Dekalb with the DFCS <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>an</strong>d the Juvenile Court to determine if additional training is needed.<br />

Completion Date: December 2002 <strong>an</strong>d ongoing.<br />

8 th Quarter Report: Achieved. Per ACF 7 th quarter request to provide training agendas: Training agendas <strong>an</strong>d training rosters are<br />

attached as it relates to First Placement Best Placement Training. By the time Georgia's original PIP was approved in October 2002,<br />

the benchmark <strong>of</strong> 11 county site trainings was completed. As a result <strong>of</strong> the original CPRS pilot, the system was institutionalized<br />

statewide <strong>an</strong>d has been thoroughly documented throughout Georgia's quarterly PIP reporting.<br />
