Candidates should be committed to cultivating an academic
surgical practice with involvement in resident teaching and
clinical and/or basic science research. Salary and academic rank

The Center for Pediatric Orthopaedics, one of Phoenix
Children’s Hospital’s six Centers of Excellence, is dedicated to
offering the most advanced and comprehensive care for children
with musculoskeletal injury or related diseases or conditions.
The Center is the sixth largest of its kind in the U.S. based on
patient volume, and its surgeons are members of the state’s only
Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Team. The Center’s projected growth
includes a state-of-the-art motion analysis gait lab, as well as
the development of programs to treat spinal deformities, limb
deficiencies, musculoskeletal tumors, and skeletal dysplasia.

Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship
The Center for Pediatric Orthopaedics at Phoenix Children’s
Hospital is affiliated with the University of Arizona College
of Medicine – Phoenix. Five pediatric orthopaedic surgeons
actively involved with the fellowship currently see over 17,000
patients and perform more than 1200 operative cases. The
fellowship comprises five clinical rotations, including: pediatric
spinal deformity, neuromuscular disease, trauma, pediatric hip
disorders, and sports medicine. The fellow will have latitude in
choosing his/her curriculum.
