Advantages and Performance 


Traditional 

or digital call 

The standard 

arrangement for a 

traditional call system 

entails a call wire for 

each flat. An alternative 

option, without having to 

alter the existing system, 

and using the same 

equipment, is to produce 

a digital call system 

requiring just one wire for 

the call, which is shared 

by all receivers. Simply 

add a coder for the entry 

panel and decoder for 

each receiver (units are 

small so that they fit in 

the back of the audio 

receiver or monitor).

The intercom installation 

Intercom secrecy of speech 

Intercom selector VSE/200 can be used to create installations with up to 7 receivers (depending on the model), while assuring 

secrecy of speech towards the entry panel. In essence, the intercom unit is isolated from the main line so that it cannot interfere 

with any calls from the entry panel towards other flats. The selectors’ small size (60x44x16 mm) means they can be housed in 

existing distribution boxes, or inside one of the receivers.

The telephone installation 

Telephone switchboards 

With the telephone switchboards, using the interface IT/200, video or audio/telephone receivers can be used both to answer 

calls and activate services towards the entry panel and telephone network, interfacing traditional- and digital-call installations. 

Even standard telephone sets (cordless phones included) can be made compatible with the installation. They feature a wide 

range of functions, some of which are particularly useful, like the option of transferring a call from the entry panel to an 

independent telephone (e.g. a mobile phone).

The CTI/GSM dual band interface card can be used to 

add to the existing features of the telephone switchboards. 

Using the interface, switchboards manage a GSM 

telephone line providing functions and savings that would 

not otherwise be possible. By programming the LCR system, 

outgoing calls can be routed automatically to the GSM 

network once the desired GSM code is recognized. It is 

installed in the switchboard and accepts the SIM cards of 

the various national telephone service providers. 

Check with your telephone service provider about the 

function’s compatibility.
