Wannaska store at gunpoint
Thursday morning.
No money was taken and
the boy fled Lee’s Store at
about 10:30 a.m. Thursday,
according to the Roseau
County Sheriff’s Office. He

The Family Caregivers
and Concerns Group will
meet Monday, July 1 at 10
a.m. at the Good Samaritan
Apartments in Warren.
The meeting is intended
for family members or
friends who provide care
and/or support to elderly
persons. Individuals with a
loved one in the nursing
home or at home are
encouraged to attend.
The group intends to provide
education and support
for families facing aging
issues, as well as issues
that arise when others provide
care for loved ones.
Boy arrested for attempted
armed robbery in Wannaska
was found a short time after
the attempted armed robbery.

law enforcement agencies
and Wannaska residents for
their quick and helpful
response.

Plummer to celebrate Independence Day
Tri-River Pioneers will
host an Independence Day
celebration Thursday, July 4
in Plummer. The event is a
fundraiser for its museum.
The event includes a 5K
run/walk starting at 8 a.m.
Participants should meet at

from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

on Main Street. During that

starts at 10 a.m. For more
