THIEF RIVER FALLS Profile Warren 1984 Evergreen Implement Company has grown from just one location in Warren, adding the Thief River Falls location in 1995, the Mahnomen Location in 2010, and the Baudette location this year. Partner Gale Pawlowski currently manages the Mahnomen location and former owners, Dale and Don Holte, manage the Baudette location. In addition to the growth of Evergreen Implement Company, they have transitioned all four locations into the new John Deere Equip system, allowing the locations to better operate as a whole. Between the locations, Evergreen Implement Company has 75 full and part time employees. Harvey, Brent, and Gale are long-time partners and have been with the company a collective 85 years, most of them in ownership positions. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in McIntosh. Interment was in Calvary Lutheran Cemetery in Winger. There were no four-wheel drive pickups to make a quick trip to town.” Marion, like her father, has resided nearly all of her 88 years in Holt Township. Marion married Milton Davidson of nearby Ringbo Township in 1946, and together, they raised their four children on their Centennial Farm – a farm loaded with both family and community history. Milton owned and operated Davidson Well Drilling, which is now owned by their youngest son, Jeff. Milton passed away in 2004. Marion and Milton’s children are Ronnie and his wife Sharon Ann of Holt, Shelvie Sally Hagl-McGlynn, 51 Red Lake Falls - Sally Hagl-McGlynn, 51, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at her home. Arrangements are pending with Johnson Funeral Service. and her husband Bruce Anderson of Duluth, Sharon and her husband Steve Holmstrom who live in nearby New Solum Township, and Jeff and his wife Debbie of Newfolden. Marion has 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pink Ribbon Health Gala in TRF April 15 The Pink Ribbon Health Gala, a free family event open to the public, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 15, at the Thief River Falls Eagles Aerie. The goal of the gala is to promote the health and wellness of the entire community. Health providers, fitness professionals and nutrition advisors will be available to assist visitors to become healthier. At last count, 27 vendors have agreed to be at the event. This free activity is sponsored by the Pretty In Pink Northern State Bank Relay For Life Team. All proceeds from freewill offerings will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Oscarson Angus recognized nationally in Pathfinder Report Oscarson Angus, owned by Tom and Pam Oscarson of Red Lake Falls, has been recognized nationally by the American Angus Association for having seven registered Angus cows included in the association’s 2013 Pathfinder Report. These traits include early and regular calving and heavy weaning weights, Bowman said. More than two million eligible dams with more than 6.8 million weaning records were examined to determine Pathfinder status. All registered Angus cows that meet the strict Pathfinder standards are listed, along with their owners, in the Pathfinder Report that is published annually by the association. The 2013 Pathfinder Report lists 8,680 individual cows and 234 Pathfinder sires. The largest number of Pathfinder cows from a single herd this year is 96.
