A counseling session for the wives of deceased CG personnel was organised by Suraksha at<br />
New Delhi Institute of Management. The ladies benefited from the session <strong>and</strong> looked forward for<br />
more such sessions. As a result, one more session, open <strong>to</strong> all, was held after a gap of six months.<br />
15 children of the deceased CG personnel were given grant of ` 31,500/-. Out of this, ` 3000/- each<br />
was given <strong>to</strong> three children, doing graduation from Govt. colleges.<br />
Suraksha co-ordian<strong>to</strong>r h<strong>and</strong>ed over a sum of ` 5000/- as ex-gratia payment <strong>to</strong> the wife of<br />
Veera Ram, Adh(CK) who passed away this year.<br />
CGWWA (WEST)<br />
Annual financial grant was awarded <strong>to</strong> the wards of deceased CG personnel by President<br />
Tatrakshika (West) during the Annual General Body Meeting. Three ladies were present on the occasion,<br />
whereas bank drafts for outstation lady beneficiaries were despatched <strong>to</strong> their respective places.<br />
CGWWA h<strong>and</strong>ed over a sum of ` 5,000/- as ex-gratia grant <strong>to</strong> the daughter of Amri Lal, P/Nvk who<br />
passed away this year.<br />
CGWWA (EAST)<br />
The President Tatrakshika (East), Mrs Ila Sharma interacted with all the widows during quarterly<br />
meetings organised <strong>to</strong> look in<strong>to</strong> their welfare. She appreciated the courage with which they are<br />
moving ahead in their life <strong>and</strong> assured them of continued support from CGWWA.<br />
The Annual Scholarship cheques were presented for the school going children of deceased CG<br />
Personnel.<br />
SANSKAR (Education)<br />
This branch of CGWWA looks after the blooming kids of <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> community<br />
<strong>and</strong> ensures that they step on the right s<strong>to</strong>nes <strong>to</strong> success. Lot of efforts is taken <strong>to</strong><br />
impart a wholesome education at the tender age so that a firm foundation is laid <strong>to</strong><br />
make them also good human beings.<br />
CGWWA (HEADQUARTERS)<br />
CG KG school at Noida organised Sports Day with colourful events. Children had a march past<br />
<strong>and</strong> various sports events for the <strong>to</strong>ddlers were the highlight of the day. School celebrated its Annual<br />
Day with a variety of cultural activities. Children looked beautiful <strong>and</strong> performed excellently. Outst<strong>and</strong>ing<br />
students were awarded prizes. The President, Mrs Jayasree Muralidharan visited CGKG school <strong>and</strong><br />
gifted an electric Casio <strong>to</strong> the school. All national festivals were celebrated in the school. Gr<strong>and</strong>parents’<br />
Day was observed in the school. During the occasion, a fancy dress competition was conducted for<br />
the children.<br />
