CGWWA (NORTH EAST)<br />
Multi-faceted competitions/events on subjects like Drawing, Math, <strong>and</strong> Science <strong>and</strong> Dance<br />
were conducted for children at CGWWA Centre, Haldia. A workshop on parenting skill <strong>and</strong> women’s<br />
role in day <strong>to</strong> day life as well as self-dependency were organised for the ladies. A lecture on savings<br />
<strong>and</strong> investments for ladies was delivered by ICICI bank representatives.<br />
CGWWA Paradip organised a painting competition for school children in association with HDFC<br />
Bank.<br />
An interactive session on relations <strong>and</strong> compatibility between husb<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> wife was conducted<br />
at Kolkata. A lecture on the importance of a healthy <strong>and</strong> strong bonding in the relationships was<br />
also held.<br />
CGWWA (NORTH WEST)<br />
An awareness lecture on ‘Property rights of Women’ was delivered by RLO (NW). Various terms<br />
used in pay slips like GPF, CGBA, etc, were explained. The rank structure of EPs <strong>and</strong> SO’s were also<br />
explained. The service oriented benefits <strong>and</strong> saving schemes offered by the service <strong>to</strong> its personnel<br />
were also explained in detail. Drawing <strong>and</strong> essay writing competitions were held with theme based<br />
<strong>to</strong>pics.<br />
CGRPT family members were taken <strong>to</strong> visit the newly commissioned PCV, ICGS Samudra<br />
Paheredar <strong>to</strong> underst<strong>and</strong> the technology used in the latest ships of the <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong>. A visit <strong>to</strong><br />
M/s Rameshwari Fishing Export Limited Company was organised at ICGS Veraval. Information about<br />
the food processing system was imparted <strong>to</strong> the ladies.<br />
SANJEEVAN (Health)<br />
A healthy mind, a healthy spirit <strong>and</strong> a healthy body is the mot<strong>to</strong> of Sanjeevan. Counseling<br />
sessions, meditation camps, yoga classes are conducted <strong>to</strong> keep up with the healthy spirit<br />
among the families.<br />
CGWWA (HEADQUARTERS)<br />
A counseling session on preparation for exams for students of class VI <strong>to</strong> XII was conducted at<br />
Arkaja, Noida. A lecture was delivered by PMO, ICGS Delhi on the precautionary measures <strong>to</strong> be<br />
taken during the winter session. A gynaecology camp including papsmear test (free of cost) by specialist<br />
from Apollo Hospital was organised.<br />
A stress relief centre with gym facility for CG families was inaugurated by President Tatrakshika,<br />
Mrs Jayasree Muralidharan. A medical camp consisting of the services of gynaecology, physician,<br />
dentist, <strong>and</strong> check up on blood pressure, weight, etc was organised by medical team from Sumitra<br />
