Sooloos Collections: Advanced Guide
A very useful feature of Select and Edit mode is the ability to
modify Credits in multiple albums.
The following screens take us through a worked example to change the Composer C Credit for ‘Samuel Barber’
to ‘Barber, Samuel’. (We
might wantt to do this so that we find him under ‘B’ in the browser on the iPad).
To T start we Focus the entire
collection to show only those albums
with w the Samuel Barber Credit.
Notice N we found him by just typing
‘bar’ and thenn selecting from the list.
After A pressingg Select All the t Select
and a Edit browser windoww now looks
like this.
Note N that although Focuss showed us
there are 38 albums with
this Credit,
the window on the left only shows
30, 3 this is because some of the
albums a are formed into sets. s
Important Note: Add/remove is NOT
search & replace. If we
want to remove a Credit from any of the
selected albums it will be done for those which contain it; however a simultaneous Credit addition will
appear on all selected albums. Remember also there is no ‘undo’ function in editing.
