Completing the Switch block connections<br />

What value does the Switch block use when the relay control input is<br />

true? The sequence of operation specifies that the fan must be on in the<br />

eventthataEquipRmSpaceTempinputfailureexists.Useanotherconstant<br />

block to pass the value true (on).<br />

To complete the Switch block connections:<br />

1. Add a Constant block to the design space between the Fail block and<br />

the Deadband block.<br />

2. Set the block as a binary constant with a value of ON.<br />

3. Connect the ON constant block to the NO (normally open) port of the<br />

Switch block (Figure 44 on page 41).<br />
