Adding an Output block<br />

To apply the output of the Greater Than block to actually control the fan,<br />

add an Output block to the program to pass data to the Equip Rm Fan<br />

On/Off binary output. Output blocks pass data out of the program, controlling<br />

analog and binary hardware outputs.<br />

To add an Output block:<br />

1. From the Blocks menu, choose Input/Output. From the Input/Output<br />

menu, choose Output (Hardware).<br />

2. Click in the design space to place the Output (Hardware) block<br />

(Figure 22).<br />

3. Set the properties so that the type is binary and the designated output<br />

is Equip Rm Fan On/Off (Figure 23).<br />
