INTRODUCTION
This instruction manual contains all the
necessary information about using your
vehicle. Read it carefully before starting out
on your first trip. A thorough knowledge of
the operating instructions will make driving
more satisfactory and usually has a
favourable influence on the vehicle’s life.
We have tried to divide this manual into
practical, orderly parts. You will find an
explanation of the vehicle’s identification
data and operating instructions. The manual
also explains how to drive most efficiently.
Furthermore, the manual deals with daily,
weekly and periodic maintenance and it
gives descriptions of minor repairs which
may be carried out by
the driver himself.
The series dealt with in the instruction
manual, consist of different types and
models. Furthermore, each vehicle is
geared to meet the legal requirements of
the country in question and to the operating
conditions which are to be expected.
Therefore, this manual may contain text and
illustrations which do not correspond exactly
to what you find in your vehicle. This does
not influence operation and maintenance.
IMPORTANT
Make sure this instruction manual is in the
vehicle at all times and read it through
carefully before making your first trip. This
is the only way to benefit fully of all the possibilities
your DAF BUS vehicle has to offer.

contains warnings.
Each warning is preceded by the warning
symbol illustrated on the next page.
Text which is marked by an asterisk (*) in
this instruction book indicates an optional
extra.
Note:
This instruction manual is based on the
chassis and fittings as delivered by the DAF
BUS factory.
Depending on the desired superstructure
and fittings, the chassis builder may make
fundamental changes to e.g. the instrument
panel, lighting and electric wiring.
