Booking Incentives
The Greater Boston CVB, along with its
partners, Amtrak, American Airlines, the
Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority and
over 22 member hotels have created a
revolutionary meetings initiative valid for all
business booked in 2009 and actualized
through March 31, 2010. Contact the

On the Horizon
The 471-room Renaissance Boston Waterfront
Hotel opened in 2008, as well as the 148-
room Boston Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the
150-room Hotel at Battery Wharf. In 2009, the
city will welcome the 113-room Morgans Hotel,
a 235-room W Hotel and a 72-room Holiday
Inn Express Hotel and Suites.
In 2009, Boston’s reputation as one
of America’s premier waterfront cities
is highlighted by its hosting two major
international sailing events: Volvo Ocean Race
in May and the internationally renowned Tall
Ships Atlantic Challenge with more than 50
majestic Tall Ships joining the Parade of Sail
into Boston Harbor on July 8th.
We will also welcome the NCAA Men’s
Lacrosse Championships, as well as the 113th
annual Boston Marathon in April and the 45th
Head of the Charles Regatta in October.
