<strong>CEOP8079</strong><br />

Access Permits may only be issued to persons who have been trained and assessed as<br />

competent in the Access Permit Recipients training course or equivalent.<br />

The training referred to in Subclause (b) must be carried out by <strong>Essential</strong> <strong>Energy</strong> (at a<br />

fee) or another registered training organisation accredited by the Vocational Education<br />

and Training Accreditation Board.<br />

Refresher courses must be attended by high voltage operating personnel to maintain<br />

operating skills and to keep up to date with changes to relevant rules and regulations.<br />

14.3.9 Network Operations<br />

<strong>Essential</strong> <strong>Energy</strong>‟s Network Operations is manned 24 hours a day and can be<br />

contacted at any time on matters relating to the operation of <strong>Essential</strong> <strong>Energy</strong>‟s high<br />

voltage system and/or the supply of electricity through <strong>Essential</strong> <strong>Energy</strong>‟s Customer<br />

Service or Supply Interruption contact centres.<br />
