NanoSight manufactures instruments for counting, sizing and
visualizing nanoparticles from 10 nm to 2.0 m. Nanoparticle
Tracking Analysis (NTA) technology measures Diffusion
Coefficients of individual nanoparticles or viruses and determines
the count, size and concentration. Direct visualization of the
nanoparticles are displayed and a video of the particles being
measured is created. Options are available for fluorescence
measurements.

The Center for Bioinformatics at the U.S. FDA’s National Center
for Toxicological Research develops bioinformatics methods,
databases, and software to enable translational science, speed drug
development, advance personalized medicine, and improve food
safety. We produce and distribute the free software ArrayTrack,
for gene expression, proteomics, and metabolomics analysis, and
SNPTrack for genetic association analysis. NCTR’s Center for
Bioinformatics also develops databases and knowledge bases,
including the Endocrine Disruptor Knowledge Base, and Liver
Toxicity Knowledge Base.

The National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program
(NBBTP), a partnership between the Division of Occupational
Health and Safety and the National Institute of Allergy and
Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda
Campus, is accepting applications for two-year postdoctoral and
post-baccalaureate fellowships beginning January 2012. NBBTP’s
mission is to prepare Biosafety and Biocontainment professionals
to support biomedical, emerging disease and civilian biodefense
