GENERAL INFORMATION GENERAL INFORMATION Badge Barcode/Lead Retrieval All 2011 Annual Meeting badges have a barcode on the back. The badge barcode includes the attendee name, affiliation, address, fax, phone, and e-mail. Exhibiting companies have the ability to collect this data with a lead retrieval machine and can use the above mentioned information for solicitation. It is the goal of SOT to protect your privacy; therefore, if you do not wish your badge to be scanned by an exhibiting company, please inform the exhibiting company of your wishes. SOT Badge Policy—Altering of SOT badges in any way is strictly prohibited. All attendees must be offi cially registered for the meeting. Anyone with an altered badge will be asked by Security to visit the SOT Registration Desk to verify their credentials. All information printed in this Directory is represented verbatim as it was received prior to February 1, 2011. Please visit ToxExpo.com for more information about toxicology products and services. Coat/Luggage Check For your convenience, a coat/luggage check will be available in Salon F in the Grand Lobby near registration on the First Level. The coat/luggage check will be open Sunday, March 6 through Thursday, March 10. There will be a fee of $3 per item checked. Laptops, cameras, and other electronics will not be accepted. Exhibit Space Selection Meeting —2012 ToxExpo booth space is sold according to a priority point system. Previous exhibitors will receive one point for each year of exhibiting without regard to the number of booth spaces utilized. Exhibitors will be given an opportunity to select their booth for 2012 during show hours (show management staff will contact exhibitors in priority point order). A space selection meeting for ToxExpo 2012 will take place on Tuesday, March 8 at 4:45 PM in Room 156. Exhibitors who have not been contacted during show hours should attend this meeting to make their booth selection. After the space selection meeting, booths are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibit Hall Policy Admittance to the Exhibit Hall is limited to attendees with full registration. Guest/Spouse Registrants and children under the age of 15 are not allowed in the Exhibit Hall. Photography is prohibited in the Exhibit Hall. Special requests can be brought to the Show Manager. The Show Office is located in Exhibit Hall E near the Exhibitor Service Desk. Exhibit Hall (Hours/Location) Exhibit hours at the Walter E. Exhibitor personnel may enter the Hall one hour before the Exhibit Hall opens with appropriate identification. Poster presenters may enter the Hall at the poster set up times specified on page 1. First Aid and Emergency Services at the Convention Center If an emergency should occur while at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, proceed directly to the nearest house phone, located throughout the facility and in most meeting rooms, and dial 3333 for security. You will be connected directly to the 24-hour manned security department at the Convention Center. Dialing 202.249.3333 from your cell phone will also connect you directly to security. A First Aid room will be located in Exhibit Hall D and accessible from inside the Hall and from the loading dock. Breakfast and lunch items will be available for purchase, as well as coffee, soda, bottled water, and snacks. Seating is available in the Concession areas in the Exhibit Hall.
