Dear Colleagues,<br />

We have great pleasure in inviting you to participate at the International Conference<br />

on <strong>Toxicology</strong>, <strong>Environmental</strong> And <strong>Occupational</strong> <strong>Health</strong>, scheduled to be held in the city <strong>of</strong><br />

Lucknow, India on November 14-17, 2005. The Conference is jointly organized by the <strong>Society</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>Toxicology</strong> (STOX), India <strong>and</strong> Industrial <strong>Toxicology</strong> Research Centre (a constituent<br />

Laboratory <strong>of</strong> CSIR, India), Lucknow.<br />

TheAnnual Meeting <strong>of</strong> <strong>Society</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Toxicology</strong> (STOX), India, is the largest gathering <strong>of</strong><br />

toxicologists <strong>and</strong> related subject-specialists such as pharmacologists, pathologists,<br />

environmental <strong>and</strong> occupational health scientists, etc. from academia, industry <strong>and</strong><br />

government/regulatory agencies in India. It provides the most comprehensive coverage <strong>of</strong><br />

basic as well as cutting-edge advancements in toxicology besides <strong>of</strong>fering high quality<br />

continuing education courses on state-<strong>of</strong>-art technologies <strong>and</strong> regulatory issues for human<br />

resource development at nominal fee. It facilitates one-to-one interaction with the leading<br />

scientists <strong>and</strong> mutually interested research groups for exchange <strong>of</strong> information <strong>and</strong> ideas that<br />

lead to research collaborations <strong>and</strong> advancement <strong>of</strong> toxicological sciences. It also provides the<br />

participants an opportunity to be recognized <strong>and</strong> honored/awarded for their outst<strong>and</strong>ing<br />

achievements in toxicology education <strong>and</strong> research.<br />

This international conference is epitome <strong>of</strong> year-long silver jubilee celebration <strong>of</strong><br />

STOX, India. It includes plenary sessions, special lectures, Symposia, platform <strong>and</strong> poster<br />

Projection Facilities<br />

We encourage using Micros<strong>of</strong>t PowerPoint for oral/platform presentations. In case <strong>of</strong> alternative<br />

s<strong>of</strong>tware, presenters are requested to use their own laptop <strong>and</strong> necessary s<strong>of</strong>tware. Slide<br />

projectors for 35 mm slides <strong>and</strong> equipment for overhead transparencies will also be available.<br />

Time for Oral Presentation<br />

Ten minutes will be allocated to each oral presentation followed by five minutes for discussion from<br />

the floor. For the poster sessions, authors will be requested to be present during the assigned time<br />

for presentations <strong>and</strong> discussions.<br />
