Dr. Fix Plasters can be applied to any part of the body you wish to protect against friction and the formation
of blisters. If you already have a wound, then a sore spot such as this can be protected against external
influences, functioning like a second layer of skin.
There are countless numbers of applications for Dr. Fix Plasters.
The plasters can offer protection against all kinds of friction occurring during sports (skiing, cycling, skating,
running, horse riding, motocross, walking). They can even be used for preventing the formation of blisters.
Dr. Fix Blisters Plasters will relief the pain and protect blisters against additional friction. Dr. Fix Plasters can
also be used as a protective layer for various superficial wounds, cracked skin and skin irritations, such as
scratches, grazes and contact allergies.
What makes Dr. Fix Plasters so unique?
Dr. Fix Plasters make use of Silicone Skin Technology. This is a soft adhesive silicone layer over which a fine
layer of elastic Lycra fibres has been applied. Dr. Fix Plasters are bi-elastic – stretching in two directions –
and are repositionable.
The bi-elasticity of the material ensures that the plaster easily adopts the contours of the body (even
when these are unequal), without having a stretched feeling of the skin. Has the plaster been positioned
incorrectly? No problem! Dr. Fix Plasters can be removed, easily and painlessly, and repositioned in the
right place.
Damaged skin is also able to heal as the plasters can be kept on for several days, even under the shower!
The plasters do not absorb any discharge from a wound but also allow the wound to breathe. The pores in
the plasters allow excess moisture to evaporate quickly, offering the skin optimum protection.
The plasters are soft adhesive so changing them and pulling them off is totally painless: the silicone layer
does not stick to the blister or wound. Ideal for using on children.
