SURFACE PREPARATION
All Surfaces
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of powdery materials
and loose or scaling paint. If mildew is present, surface should
be washed with a chlorine bleach solution (20% bleach, 1% liquid
detergent in water) see "Special Note". Sand all glossy surfaces
after cleaning and remove all dust. Seal stains with 05130
Exterior Acrylic Stain Blocking Primer.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old lead paint from any
surface you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE
TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN
DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN
SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH approved
respirator to control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a
wet mop or HEPAvacuum. For additional information, Canadian
customers contact the Product Safety division of Health Canada
at 1-800-O-CANADA, US customers contact the U.S. EPA/Lead
Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323).
RECOMMENDED PRIMER
Pre-Painted Surfaces
De-gloss by sanding and must be soundly adhering prior to
repainting.
Wood
For new wood use 05130 Latex Stain Blocking Primer or 15130
Alkyd Stain Blocking Primer
Masonry
05700 Latex Block Filler or Self-priming with 2 coats on masonry
surfaces.
Drywall
05250 Hi-Hide Latex Drywall Sealer
Steel
70324 EcoLogic Rustex Primers

Warning
Keep from freezing. USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Close
container after EACH use. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not take internally.
First Aid
In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water
for at least 15 minutes. Wash contaminated skin with soap and
water. If ingested, call physician or the Poison Control Centre
immediately.
