DESCRIPTION<br />

A super premium quality 100% Acrylic <strong>Latex</strong> exterior finish for use<br />

on stucco, masonry, primed wood, exterior metal and galvanized<br />

surfaces where proper surface preparation and applicable primers<br />

are required. An ideal choice for aluminum and weathered vinyl<br />

siding (dark colours not recommended on vinyl siding as heat<br />

absorption can cause vinyl to ripple). A super premium quality<br />

product with excellent hiding and durability in a rich, semi gloss<br />

finish. Approved by the Master <strong>Paint</strong>er's Institute under Category #<br />

11, <strong>Gloss</strong> Level 5. This product contains a mildewcide.<br />

RECOMMENDED USES<br />

• For interior or exterior stucco, masonry, primed wood, metal<br />

or weathered vinyl or aluminum siding.<br />

• New colours for vinyl siding must by lighter than original<br />

colour. Apply at temperatures above 5°C (41°F).<br />

SURFACE PREPARATION<br />

All Surfaces<br />

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of powdery materials<br />

and loose or scaling paint. If mildew is present, surface should<br />

be washed with a chlorine bleach solution (20% bleach, 1% liquid<br />

detergent in water) see "Special Note". Sand all glossy surfaces<br />

after cleaning and remove all dust. Seal stains with 05130<br />

<strong>Exterior</strong> Acrylic Stain Blocking Primer.<br />

WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old lead paint from any<br />

surface you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE<br />

TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN<br />

DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN<br />

SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH approved<br />

respirator to control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a<br />

wet mop or HEPAvacuum. For additional information, Canadian<br />

customers contact the Product Safety division of Health Canada<br />

at 1-800-O-CANADA, US customers contact the U.S. EPA/Lead<br />

Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323).<br />

RECOMMENDED PRIMER<br />

Pre-<strong>Paint</strong>ed Surfaces<br />

De-gloss by sanding and must be soundly adhering prior to<br />

repainting.<br />

Wood<br />

For new wood use 05130 <strong>Latex</strong> Stain Blocking Primer or 15130<br />

Alkyd Stain Blocking Primer<br />

Masonry<br />

05700 <strong>Latex</strong> Block Filler or Self-priming with 2 coats on masonry<br />

surfaces.<br />

Drywall<br />

05250 Hi-Hide <strong>Latex</strong> Drywall Sealer<br />

Warning<br />

Keep from freezing. USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Close<br />

First Aid<br />

In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water<br />

for at least 15 minutes. Wash contaminated skin with soap and<br />

water. If ingested, call physician or the Poison Control Centre<br />

immediately.<br />
