Craig graduated in 1993 from Ferris State
University in Big Rapids, Michigan, with a
bachelor’s degree in industrial and environmental
health management. Before moving
to Oregon, Craig was a safety compliance
officer for South Carolina OSHA. He began
his career with Oregon OSHA in 1995 as a
safety compliance officer in Medford. Craig
joined Oregon OSHA’s Education Section
in 1998, conducting safety and health workshops
and training sessions for Oregon’s
employers and employees.

Mark has worked at dairy farming, commercial
fishing, construction, logging,
and in sawmills. With Oregon OSHA, he
was a compliance officer and a consultant
before he was asked to manage the VPP
and SHARP programs. He is a certified
safety-and-health manager with the National
Safety Management Society.
