Forklift Safety
With more than one million forklifts operating
in the U.S. today, safe operations and
effective operator training are top priorities.
This workshop introduces participants to
OSHA’s powered industrial truck standard
and includes an in-depth review of operator
training. Program discusses safe work
practices and other topics not specifically
addressed in the standard, including center
of gravity, fulcrum point, and seat restraints.
Variable-reach (rough terrain) forklifts and
skid-steer loaders (Bobcats) will also be
addressed.
