116Homers <strong>Golden</strong> Chain," was a manuscript that was given considerable attention at <strong>the</strong> 5=6 level<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Dawn</strong> and was based on a translation by <strong>Pat</strong>tinson, a prominent <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Dawn</strong> and<br />
S.R.I.A member who was also an alchemist. This manuscript was never deemed <strong>of</strong>ficial but was<br />
frequently referred to. In Sword <strong>of</strong> Wisdom, l<strong>the</strong>l Colquhoun referred [0 <strong>the</strong> Kirchweger rranslation<br />
as <strong>the</strong> one being used in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Dawn</strong> but this is in error; it was <strong>the</strong> Bacstrom version.
