All suppliers will be notified when online training materials are available. Following training, suppliers will be able to access their External Balanced Scorecard (EBSC) and the associated Sourcing Martix (Bubble Chart) through the Extended Enterprise Network (EEN). Each supplier must have a DaimlerChrysler supplier identification number (S-ID) to access information through the EEN. Denise Bondy, Senior Manager NAO Executive Staff and Supplier Support, is responsible for the roll-out within the Chrysler Group: “Our recommendation is that performance data be shared and discussed among the DaimlerChrysler buyer, quality and delivery specialists, internal customers and the supplier. Regular feedback sessions between our internal and external partners are highly encouraged.” GP&S GPSIS/EBSC Non-Production Material Suppliers Chrysler Group: Like other DaimlerChrysler purchasing organizations, Auburn Hills Non-Production Procurement will be using the EBSC process to evaluate its supplier performance in the future. Starting in January the buyers will be reviewing expected performance and setting balanced scorecard targets for the key NPM suppliers (approx. 600). The primary data input for the NPM EBSC will be coming from internal user customers that will be asked to evaluate supplier performance through a new twelve question web-based electronic supplier evaluation survey. Along with this customer input will be performance measures on Material Cost Management (MCM) and Diversity Supplier Development. Electrics/ Electronics and Chassis, up to now under common management, will be separated into two independently managed areas. The creation of a new management area solely responsible for electrics and electronics is a necessary response to the dynamics and flexibility inherent in the electronics and automotive industries.
