Judge David G. Klim,<br />

values upon which the<br />
Learning Center was<br />
built. It will be a place<br />
to learn, to hope, to<br />
dream, and to grow.<br />
The David G. Klim Learning and Recreation Center at Springfield Gardens<br />
provides educational and recreational programs for children and adults living at<br />
the apartment complex. Through the efforts of the <strong>Town</strong> of <strong>DeWitt</strong>’s <strong>People</strong> <strong>In</strong><br />
<strong>Action</strong> program a community enrichment program that addresses the challenges<br />
faced by the residents of Springfield Gardens was born. It provides educational<br />
programs, job training, literacy programs, and a food pantry.<br />
To continue Judge Klim’s dream a playground is scheduled to be installed in<br />
Springfield Gardens by next summer.<br />
