Section 11.
The invalidity of any provision of this Local law shall not affect the validity of any other provision of
this Local Law that can be given effect without such invalid provision.
Section 12.
This local law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the Office of the Secretary of State.

The Supervisor recessed the meeting and called to order a public hearing at 8:05 p.m. to consider
a proposed local law establishing zoning districts in the hamlet of Jamesville.
Proof of publication in the Syracuse Post-Standard dated August 29, 2008 was read and filed.
The matter was presented and reviewed by Attorney Sutphen. She noted the support of the
Planning Board by resolution dated July 24, 2008.
The Supervisor closed the hearing.
Motion by Councilor Mannion, seconded by Councilor Scruton.
RESOLVED, that the following findings are made in connection with and subsequent to the
public hearing for the proposed Local Law entitled “Establishment of Hamlet Zoning Districts”:
1. This Board finds with respect to SEQRA that an environmental impact statement was
prepared and noted no negative environmental impact by reason of these modifications to the
Zoning Code inasmuch as:
a. This code change merely establishes the areas of the Town which will be
impacted by separately enacted Hamlet Zoning Provisions; such establishment of areas does not
negatively impact the environment;
