Current Performance:
In the metropolitan sections of the region, the pockets of tourism focus (such as Scarborough, Hillarys and, to a lesser extent, Cottesloe) are generally seen to be in a
period of stagnation with the need for rejuvenation. The development of the Indian Ocean Drive linking Lancelin to Cervantes is anticipated to stimulate investment outside
the Perth metropolitan area, and as such the rest of the region is very much seen to be a period of development.
