At a distance of 15km to Guildford and 34km to Mundaring, key sites within the
region are seen to be extremely accessible by road from the Perth CBD. Even the
Chittering Valley, which is approximately 70km from the Perth CBD, can be easily
reached within a few hours. While the region is easily accessible by car from Perth,
options for travelling to and around the Swan Valley and Perth Hills region are
seen to be far more limited for interstate and overseas travellers without a vehicle.
