Wing Deck Position Switches<br />

Adjustment<br />

1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting deck,<br />

stop engine, engage parking brake and remove key<br />

from the ignition switch.<br />

2. Remove switch cover from deck to allow access to<br />

position switch that requires adjustment.<br />

NOTE: Use Deck Proximity Switch Adjustment Tool<br />

(TOR4095) to assist with switch adjustment (see Special<br />

Tools).<br />

3. Loosen two (2) lock nuts that secure switch bracket<br />

to center cutting deck (Fig. 7).<br />

4. When adjusting switch location, the target surface of<br />

position switch should be approximately 0.188” (4.8<br />

mm) from actuator tab on wing deck link (Fig. 8).<br />

5. When wing deck position switch is properly adjusted,<br />

hydraulic motor on wing deck should turn off when wing<br />

deck is raised and wing deck latch opens.<br />
