Disassembly (Fig. 37.1)<br />

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remove and neutralize<br />

chemicals from tank and spray components before<br />

disassembly. Wear protective clothing, chemical resistant<br />

gloves and eye protection during repair.<br />

1. Park machine on a level surface, stop engine, engage<br />

parking brake and remove key from the ignition<br />

switch.<br />

2. Drain spray tank (see Operator’s Manual and Fig.<br />

37.2).<br />

3. Label hoses to allow proper installation after repairs<br />

are completed. Loosen hose clamps and remove hoses<br />

from hosebarbs that are to be disassembled.<br />

4. Disassemble drain assembly using Figure 37.1 as a<br />

guide. Discard all removed O--rings and gaskets.<br />

NOTE: Coat all O--rings with vegetable oil before installation<br />

to reduce the chance of damage during assembly.<br />

1. Assemble drain assembly using Figure 37.1 as a<br />

guide. Replace all removed O--rings and gaskets.<br />

2. Using labels placed during disassembly, install<br />

hoses to hosebarbs and secure with hose clamps.<br />

3. Make sure that drain valve is closed and secured to<br />

sprayer with lynch pin (Fig. 37.2).<br />

4. Check spray tank for leaks. Repair all leaks before<br />

returning the sprayer to service.<br />
