<strong>The</strong> <strong>Black</strong> <strong>Forest</strong> <strong>Card</strong> »Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong>« offers free admission<br />
to: Museums, swimming pools and spa resorts, theme and leisu-<br />
re parks (even 1 admission to Europa-Park, Germany’s biggest<br />
leisure park, is included), cable railways, ski lifts, boat trips, visi-<br />
tor mines and many other attractions.<br />
During 2011 / 2012 the <strong>Black</strong> <strong>Forest</strong> <strong>Card</strong> »Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong>«<br />
is valid on any 3 days from April 1 st in 2011 until<br />
March 31 th in 2012.<br />
<strong>The</strong> family ticket is valid for 2 Adults and 3 Children up to<br />
17 years. Each family gets one single ticket; the attractions have<br />
to be visited together. <strong>The</strong> card is transferable to another user.<br />
During one day the card is non-transferable.<br />
In addition to this many special attractions can be visited<br />
- once outside of the three-day period of validity,<br />
- once within the three-day period of validity.<br />
You can buy the card in many tourist information centres in the<br />
<strong>Black</strong> <strong>Forest</strong>. Moreover the card can be bought at most parti-<br />
cipating attractions as well. It is also possible to order the card<br />
from the Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH.<br />
You get a free copy of the <strong>Black</strong> <strong>Forest</strong> Flyer with your<br />
Schwarz wald<strong>Card</strong> – the guide of the Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong> –<br />
with detailed information about all attractions and excursions.<br />

General terms and conditions of business<br />
for the Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong> (<strong>Black</strong> <strong>Forest</strong> Ticket)<br />
This translation of the general terms and conditions of business<br />
for the Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong> only serves the purpose of your convenience.<br />
Merely the German version of these general terms and<br />
conditions of business are legally binding.<br />
Following terms and conditions of usage for the issuing and use<br />
of the Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong>, called in this text SWC, are effective:<br />
1. Contract basis:<br />
Merely buying the SWC as such does not represent having a contract<br />
basis with one of the service providing partners named in<br />
the brochure Schwarzwald Reiseführer. Service providing partners<br />
are fi rms that offer their services in the Faltkarte Schwarzwald-<br />
<strong>Card</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> holder of the ticket enters into the current contract with the<br />
service providing partner himself before or at the moment he uses<br />
the named service.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH is not the tour operator and<br />
does not provide the services. It acts merely as an agent for the<br />
use of the services connected with the SWC. <strong>The</strong> service providing<br />
partners offer the holder of the ticket after a one-off payment the<br />
usage of the currently named services in the Schwarzwald Reiseführer<br />
(<strong>Black</strong> <strong>Forest</strong> Guide).<br />
2. Service level:<br />
All service providing partners are obliged to make available all<br />
named SWC-services unrestricted and totally to the usual seasonal<br />
opening hours and their general terms and conditions of business<br />
to the holder of the SWC-ticket.<br />
Some service providing partners, however, have due to weather<br />
and seasonal conditions different operating times which do not<br />
cover the whole period of validity of the SWC.<br />
It is possible that restrictions result out of individual blocking<br />
periods.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH accepts no liability for the<br />
services of the service providing partners. <strong>The</strong> SWC entitles the<br />
holder of the ticket to repeated free admission to the attractions<br />
and facilities listed in the guide during the period of validity of<br />
the ticket.<br />
<strong>The</strong> services of some service providing partners can only be<br />
used once with the SWC. <strong>The</strong>se services are marked as such in<br />
the current guide.<br />
3. Transferability:<br />
<strong>The</strong> SWC can be transferred to another person from one day of<br />
use to the next. Within the day of use the card is non-transferable<br />
and is only valid in combination with a valid identity card.<br />
4. Validity:<br />
<strong>The</strong> season during which the services of the service providing<br />
partners can be used is mentioned in the Faltkarte Schwarzwald-<br />
<strong>Card</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> SWC is valid on any three days inside this season.<br />
<strong>The</strong> period of validity starts with the day of the fi rst use and ends<br />
on the day of the last use at midnight. Besides this you can visit<br />
many selected attractions, listed in the Faltkarte Schwarzwald-<br />
<strong>Card</strong> as bonus-partners, each once also outside this three-day<br />
validity period.<br />
Every SWC use sets off a blocking period of eight hours for the<br />
use of the services, so that a service which can be visited more<br />
than once, can be visited again but not before this time interval of<br />
eight hours expires.<br />
5. Prices:<br />
<strong>The</strong> mentioned prices in the Faltkarte Schwarzwald<strong>Card</strong> and on<br />
the homepage www.schwarzwaldcard.info for the SWC are valid.<br />
<strong>The</strong> ticket remains in possession of the STG until it is paid for.<br />
6. Childrens’ tickets:<br />
In purchasing a SWC for adults, children between the ages of<br />
4 and 11 inclusive can buy a SWC at a reduced price. Children below<br />
the age of 4 do not receive a ticket of their own, they, however,<br />
can make use of the services for free when they are with an<br />
adult in possession of a valid SWC.<br />
7. Family tickets:<br />
<strong>The</strong> family tickets are valid for two adults and three children<br />
under the age of 17 inclusive. <strong>The</strong> family receives only one ticket<br />
which the family can only use as a unit (family members do not<br />
receive tickets of their own).<br />
8. Usage:<br />
To be able to use the ticket the holder of the ticket shows his<br />
SWC to the service providing partner, the service providing<br />
partner will then check the validity of the ticket at a terminal or<br />
through mere sight and check the identity of the holder before<br />
completion of the contract. <strong>The</strong> holder of the ticket has the obligation<br />
to show a valid identity card on request. If the holder cannot<br />
do so, the service providing partner can refuse him the use of<br />
the SWC.<br />
9. Misuse:<br />
If a ticket is misused or in case of suspicion of misuse the service<br />
providing partners have the right to or better still are obligated to<br />
withhold the SWC without replacement. <strong>The</strong> holder of the SWC<br />
is liable for misuse of the ticket and the use of the SWC by a third<br />
party.<br />
10. If the SWC is stolen he is obligated to report this theft to the<br />
following phone number +49 (0) 761 / 89 646 82. <strong>The</strong> Schwarzwald<br />
Tourismus GmbH accepts no liability and no claim for a replacement<br />
or refund of the purchasing price exists.<br />
