Corporations and businesses are invited to support Cape Fear<br />

Academy and gain recognition on campus via the CFA<br />

Sponsorship Program. There are two events which sponsors<br />

may support as well as the opportunity to build brand<br />

awareness via signage on campus.<br />

Sponsorship options may be combined to customize the<br />

needs of individual businesses.<br />

Campus Signage Opportunities<br />

Businesses can make an impression on the Cape Fear<br />

Academy community with a signage sponsorship through the<br />

CFA Corporate Sponsors Program. This opportunity offers<br />

the ability to reach over 400 Cape Fear Academy families,<br />

plus hundreds of guests and visitors who come on campus.<br />

All acknowledgements provided by the Sponsor under this agreement<br />

will adhere to the limitations appertaining to “qualified sponsorships” as<br />

defined in the Internal Revenue Code section 513 (i) and Treasury<br />

Regulation 1.513-4. For purposes of this definition, qualified<br />

sponsorships are limited to those instances when the sponsor receives no<br />

substantial return benefit from the arrangement other than the use or<br />

acknowledgement of the name or logo (or product lines) of the Sponsor.<br />

Use or acknowledgement in a qualified sponsorship may include: a)<br />

logos and slogans that do not contain qualitative or comparative<br />

descriptions of the Sponsor’s products, services facilities, or name; b) list<br />

of Sponsor’s locations, telephone numbers or internet address; and c)<br />

logos or slogans that contain qualitative or comparative language that are<br />

an established part of the Sponsor’s identity. Advertising containing<br />

qualitative or comparative language, calls to action, or otherwise an<br />

endorsement of the Sponsor’s products is not included in this definition<br />

of a qualified sponsorship.
