VITA Mark Owens was born on January 11, 1977 in Memphis, TN. Mark graduated from White Station High School in 1995. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2000. Mark received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2005 from the University of the Tennessee Health Science Center. He then spent the next three years in private dental practice in Shelbyville, TN, before returning to Memphis to become a graduate student in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2008.
