These canonical variates are weighted combinations of the four discriminatory<br />

variables that maximally distinguish between the two groups. Based on all cast<br />

and cephalometric variables at the end of treatment, four dimensions correctly<br />

predict kind of retention they received in 72% of the cases.<br />
