40 – Bi-Spectral Cross-Frequency Power Correlations<br />

A common method of evaluating bi-spectral relations is to compute<br />

the cross-frequency power correlation (Linas et al, 2005). The method<br />

involves computing the covariance of power at each frequency bin with<br />

respect to all other frequency bins. An example is shown for the crossfrequency<br />

power correlations from 1 to 50 Hz in wakefulness, drowsiness<br />

<strong>and</strong> sleep in the same subject as shown in<br />
