37 – Coherence Between Two Time Series of Phase Resets<br />

Defined as the average Coherence of the First Derivative of the Time<br />

Series of Instantaneous Phase Differences (i.e., “Phase Reset”) between any<br />

pair of electrodes with respect to a common electrode. For example, the<br />

two time series of phase resets for Cz-P3 <strong>and</strong> Cz-P4 are the input to the<br />

coherence analysis in which there is significant phase stability between the<br />

two time series of phase reset. See section 15 for an explanation of phase<br />

reset. An example of 19 leads = 171 combinations is in Figure 31.
