& Range <strong>of</strong> Movement<br />
Have fun and move to the music through a variety<br />
<strong>of</strong> exercises designed to increase muscular<br />
strength, range <strong>of</strong> movement, and activity for<br />
daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic<br />
tubing with handles, and a ball are <strong>of</strong>fered for<br />
resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or<br />
standing support.<br />

Cardio Circuit<br />
Combine fun and fitness to increase your<br />
cardiovascular and muscular endurance power<br />
with a standing circuit workout. Upper body<br />
strength work with handheld weights, elastic<br />
tubing with handles, and a ball alternated with<br />
non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is<br />
<strong>of</strong>fered for support, stretching, and relaxation<br />
exercises.<br />

GOLD<br />
Silver&Fit Dance is a fun-filled, safe, and easy<br />
to follow Latin dance program created for the<br />
active older adult and appropriate for all fitness<br />
levels. Rhythms like the Merengue, Salsa, Cha<br />
Cha, Belly Dance, Cumbia, Flamenco, Tango, and<br />
Rock and Roll are simplified and broken down to<br />
emphasize the basics while creating a total body<br />
workout that is motivational, inspiring, and fun.<br />

GENTLE Yoga<br />
(OLDER ADULTS)<br />
This relaxing program <strong>of</strong>fers slow stretching and<br />
strengthening <strong>of</strong> the body to improve posture<br />
and focus the mind. The class utilizes a chair<br />
for seated and standing support. Instruction on<br />
proper breathing, meditation, and relaxation<br />
techniques included.<br />
WOMen’s strength<br />
training program<br />
A class to learn how to properly utilize free<br />
weights and strength machines. Learn some<br />
new exercises to enhance daily functions and<br />
quality <strong>of</strong> life. Registration is required.<br />

FOR Military Families<br />
This Memorial Day Weekend, <strong>YMCA</strong> Camp Gorham is thrilled<br />
to <strong>of</strong>fer a FREE weekend getaway at to all active and<br />
veteran military families. The camp will be open<br />
exclusively to military families as a thank you for<br />
your service. To participate all you have to do is<br />
register in advance.<br />
Located on beautiful Dart Lake in the<br />
Adirondacks, Camp Gorham’s Military Family<br />
Camp will include a wide range <strong>of</strong> activities<br />
including swimming, kayaking, canoeing,<br />
fishing, climbing, hiking, and more.<br />
