CXWORX ®<br />

This is a 30 minute workout that will bring you<br />

to a new fitness level for CORE training! This<br />

program really targets the torso and sling<br />

muscles that connect your upper body to your<br />

lower body. It’s ideal for strengthening your<br />

abdominals and your butt while also improving<br />

functional strength and assisting in injury<br />

prevention.<br />

Core Muscle Training<br />

This class focuses on torso strength and<br />

body alignment through exercises that target<br />

abdominal and low back muscles.<br />

Intro to Group<br />

Exercise<br />

A great way to introduce yourself to Group<br />

Exercise classes. You will learn the basics <strong>of</strong><br />

form and technique. Recommended to all who<br />

have not taken Group Exercise classes before.<br />

Low Impact Aerobics<br />

This is an aerobic class that utilizes low impact<br />

techniques for reduced joint stress.<br />

Step Combo<br />

An indoor cycling cardio workout for all fitness<br />

levels.<br />

CARDIO BALL<br />

This class utilizes a variety <strong>of</strong> exercise balls with<br />

athletic, cardio, and dance movements that are<br />

unique and challenging.<br />

<strong>YMCA</strong> Walk Reebok<br />

A <strong>YMCA</strong> Walk Reebok instructor will take the<br />

group on a variety <strong>of</strong> walks in the gymnasium.<br />

You will learn the health, fitness, and power walk<br />

techniques.<br />

ZUMBA ®<br />

ZUMBA ® is a fusion <strong>of</strong> Latin and International<br />

–dance themes that create dynamic, exciting,<br />

effective fitness system! ZUMBA ® utilizes<br />

the principles <strong>of</strong> fitness interval training and<br />

resistance training for a full body workout!<br />

It combines a mixture <strong>of</strong> body sculpting<br />

movements with easy to follow dance steps.<br />

REQUIREMENT<br />

To better serve <strong>YMCA</strong> members<br />

and program participants regarding<br />

their safety in exercise activities,<br />

all members and participants<br />

will be given a “Physical Activity<br />

Readiness Questionnaire” at the<br />

time <strong>of</strong> registration. This form<br />

asks questions regarding the<br />

major health risks associated<br />

with exercise, as identified by<br />

the American College <strong>of</strong> Sports<br />

Medicine, and recommends seeking<br />

medical advice prior to beginning a<br />

program. The <strong>YMCA</strong> recommends<br />

consultation with a physician prior<br />

to beginning any exercise program.<br />
