“Got Strength?”<br />
Youth and Teen Strength<br />
Training<br />
Improve strength, cardiovascular endurance,<br />
and flexibility with our strength training<br />
program created for young adults. Participants<br />
will be introduced to various forms <strong>of</strong> resistance<br />
training techniques, cardiovascular programs,<br />
flexibility exercises, and healthy lifestyles, as<br />
well as Wellness Center etiquette. Successful<br />
completion <strong>of</strong> the “Got Strength?” Program is<br />
required for 12-year-olds to use the Wellness<br />
Center. All participants receive a “Got Strength?”<br />
certificate upon successful completion <strong>of</strong> the<br />
“Got Strength?” Program. Please contact the<br />
Welcome Center to register for this program.<br />

Y Kids Personal<br />
Training Package<br />
Have fun while working out with your own<br />
personal trainer! Exciting and challenging<br />
cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength training<br />
exercises that help to increase balance,<br />
coordination, focus, and functional strength.<br />
Maximum two members per session.<br />

BABYSITTERS TRAINING<br />
This course gives youth 11-15 years old the<br />
knowledge and confidence to care for infants and<br />
school-age children. Combining video, activities,<br />
hands-on skills training, and discussion for<br />
a complete learning experience. Babysitters<br />
Training teaches youth how to:<br />
• Respond to emergencies and illness with first<br />
aid, rescue breathing, and other appropriate<br />
care<br />
• Make decisions under pressure<br />
• Communicate with parents to learn household<br />
rules<br />
• Recognize safety and hygiene issues<br />
• Manage young children<br />
• Feed, diaper, and care for infants<br />
• Start their baby-sitting business<br />

KIDS SAFE ALONE<br />
Designed for youth ages 8 to 12, this class<br />
provides older children the basic skills to stay safe<br />
when direct parent supervision is not available.<br />
From answering the telephone and door safely<br />
to knowing what to do in an emergency, your<br />
child will gain confidence to stay safe when they<br />
are home alone.<br />

ReadyFit<br />
ReadyFit is a series <strong>of</strong> personalized fitness<br />
programs designed for everybody by the <strong>YMCA</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Greater</strong> Rochester and FREE to members.<br />
Whether you are just beginning to exercise or<br />
you’ve been exercising for years, ReadyFit has<br />
a personalized program to meet your specific<br />
needs. The series <strong>of</strong> ReadyFit programs utilizes<br />
the new, advanced FitLinxx technology.<br />
THE READY PLAN–personalized 12-week plan<br />
for new or returning exercisers 12 years <strong>of</strong> age<br />
and older. This gradual, structured approach to<br />
exercise <strong>of</strong>fers four one-to-one appointments<br />
with your ReadyFit Coach, with the expectation<br />
that you will workout three times a week for<br />
12 weeks. This routine will increase your rate<br />
<strong>of</strong> success to develop and maintain a physically<br />
active lifestyle.<br />

Nutrition One-on-One<br />
Assess and correct daily diet and eating habits.<br />
Our registered dietician will assist you in<br />
