The YMCA of Greater Rochester provides
preschool classes that will help your child
explore their world, find out how to get along
with others, and test their skills and muscles.
In our classes, children work on individual skill
development, learn how to work with others,
and are introduced to different activities. Our
enrichment classes run with the sessions.
Tumble Bugs
First in a series of progressive programs to begin
developing physical skill such as coordination,
balance, and endurance, as well as the concept
of sharing in group activities.
Age Requirement: 2-3 yrs. (without parent)

creative movement
and DANCE
We will explore beginner ballet and jazz dancing
techniques along with creative movement.
Creative movement introduces young children
to music and movement. It fosters imagination
and creativity and children are encouraged to
explore movement in fun ways.

Parents Night Out
Leap Frogs
Second in a series of progressive fitness
programs. Includes activities that work on both
large and small motor skills and coordination.
Program also includes some quiet time for
stories and crafts.

Youth Programs
LEt’s Get Cooking
Mix, stir, and pour! Children will have fun learning
about ingredients, measuring, and eating their
own creations. Diversity will be celebrated so
feel free to make suggestions regarding your
family’s traditions!

Sign language CLASS
Learn how to incorporate signing into your
family’s daily routine while jumpstarting early
language and social skills. Parents/caregivers
and their little ones will play, laugh, and sing
while exploring American Sign Language in
a fun and interactive environment. Signing
can decrease frustration and strengthen the
bond you share with the little one in your life!
Registration fee is for one parent/caregiver
accompanied by one child.
