Les Possibles, the
memory object
A group of students wanted to address how to encourage
interaction and a sense of community in Kannelmäki.
The solution was a public, participative and shared
collective diary. The concept consists of audio recorders
organised in a flower shape, which are placed in
the park. People can record their stories and listen to
what other people had to say. They then receive a small
clip as a sign of their participation in the community,
encouraging them to recognise and interact with other
participants.
